Woman struck by PATH train in Manhattan

NEW YORK (AP) — PATH train service has been disrupted after a train struck and injured a woman in a Manhattan station.

A Port Authority spokesman said that it was unclear how the mishap occurred at around 1 p.m. Saturday at the 14th Street station. He said the woman was conscious when she was taken to the hospital.

Service between Journal Square and 33rd Street via Hoboken was suspended while police investigated. Service continued on the Newark to World Trade Center line and between Journal Square and Hoboken.
