Woman pushing stroller assaulted in the Bronx
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The search is on for a man who threw a woman pushing a stroller to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her in the Bronx, said the NYPD.
The 20-year-old victim was pushing the stroller with an infant along the New England Expressway overpass at Steenwick Avenue at about 8:10 a.m. on Tuesday when the man grabbed her arm, pushed her to the ground, pushed the stroller away and began touching her breasts and kissing her, according to police.
The assailant fled the scene when he noticed someone approaching.
Surveillance video shows him running from the area with only jeans on.
He took off on Rombouts Avenue and Givan Avenue .
He is described as Hispanic, approximately 31-years-old, 5'7" tall and weighing around 160 lbs. He has brown eyes, a medium build, light complexion and long, black curly hair.
