Woman killed in bus hit-and-run
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Police are on the hunt for the driver of a private carrier bus that struck and killed a woman along Main Street and Kissena Boulevard in Queens late Thursday night.
The bus left the scene of the crash. It is not clear if the driver was aware of the deadly collision.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
EMS who responded to the scene pronounced her dead at about 8:30 p.m.
Late Thursday, Connecticut State Police stopped a bus in the town of Madison on request of the NYPD.
The bus was cleared to resume its route at about 3:45 a.m.
It is not clear if there is a connection to the deadly hit-and-run in downtown Flushing.
