Woman accused of robbing people at cemeteries

Suffolk County Police arrested Tiffany Radford in connection with a series of thefts at cemeteries in Farmingdale over a period of months this year.

Radford, 30, was arrested on Monday afternoon.  She is accused of targeting unlocked vehicles as the owners were at a gravesite.

She was charged with four counts of Petit Larceny for thefts from vehicles parked at Saint Charles Cemetery, located at 2015 Wellwood Ave., on April 21, June 17, June 30 and July 15, 2018. 

Radford, of Farmingdale, is also suspected of being involved in other thefts that occurred at Saint Charles Cemetery and at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Police ask that anyone who believes they may be a victim to call 631-854-8132. Anyone with additional information asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Officers want people to remember to always lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight.
