Woman, 91, placed in chokehold, robbed in Park Slope

A 91-year-old woman was followed into the vestibule of her building in Park Slope, Brooklyn by a man who assaulted and robbed her, according to police.

The assault occurred Wednesday at about 1 p.m. at 555 9th St. 

The elderly woman was placed in a chokehold at gunpoint.

The attacker took the woman's money before demanding money from a 50-year-old man who came walked into the vestibule at the time of the attack.

The suspect fled with approximately $370.

The NYPD is on the hunt for the man seen in surveillance camera footage.

He is described by police as black, 40 to 50 years old, 5'10"-6'0", 250lbs,

He was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweater, a black jacket, a black wool cap, black gloves, light colored pants and dark colored shoes.
