Woman, 81, pulled by hair to the ground; cops hunt suspect
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The NYPD has released photos of a woman who pulled an elderly woman by the hair to the ground inside the AMC movie theater on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
The assault took place at about 3:40 p.m. on Mar. 30. Police say the pair had gotten into a verbal dispute while on line.
The suspect grabbed the 81-year-old woman by the hair and pulled her to the ground. The victim was taken to a hospital for dizziness, pain, and swelling.
The suspect is described by police as Hispanic, in her mid-30s, and with long dark hair.
She was last seen wearing a red shirt, back spandex pants, and red sneakers.
