Wines for Valentine's Day and beyond

If you're either taking your sweetheart out to dinner or planning a romantic evening at home for Valentine's Day, wine is usually on the menu. 2. Nicolas Feuillate Brut Rose Champagne NV

This is a classic choice for Valentine's Day (the pink color is a perfect match). $48 is a good price for a Champagne. WS score: 90/100.

3. J Vin Gris Russian River Valley 2013

This is a zesty, dry, and still rose with red berry and spice notes. At $20 it is a good value. WS score: 89/100.

4. Inniskillin Riesling Niagra Peninsula Ice Wine 2012

This sweet dessert wine, made from grapes that were naturally frozen on the vine, can be paired with a range of desserts, including your Valentine's Day chocolates. At $80 it is a splurge. WS score: 93/100.
