Johns Creek Police have identified the man they believe was driving a Mercedes during a high speed chase down State Bridge Road on June 16.

Warrants were issued Tuesday for Frederick Spry’s arrest. Police believe Spry was behind the wheel of a car traveling at up to 100 mph.

Johns Creek Police told FOX 5 News, an officer tried to pull the driver over for going over the speed limit, but he decided not to stop.

Captain Chris Byers said the “test drive” tag on the car and the Mitsubishi emblem seen on the dashcam video played a key role in the investigation.

Byers said they were able to connect the car with the Roswell Mitsubishi dealership.

Roswell Mitsubishi said Spry is no longer an employee.
