VIDEO: UConn student arrested over mac and cheese

STORRS, Conn. (AP) — A UConn student faces criminal charges after a confrontation over macaroni and cheese that was captured on what has become a viral video. The 9-minute, obscenity-laced clip shows 19-year-old Luke Gatti, of Bayville, N.Y., arguing with and eventually shoving a manager at a food court inside the school's student union on Sunday night. *VIDEO WARNING: GRAPHIC LANGUAGE*

He had been attempting to purchase some mac and cheese with bacon and jalapeno peppers, but was refused service for carrying an open alcohol container.

Gatti is tackled by another employee, arrested by a police officer and is shown spitting at the manager before being led out of the building.

Gatti did not return a call seeking comment. He's charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass and is due in court on Oct. 13.
