Video: Odell Beckham Jr. approached with a bat

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Video has surfaced of what appears to be a player for the Carolina Panthers approaching NY Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. with a baseball bat on the field ahead of a very heated match last Sunday that resulted in ODB's suspension.

The video was posted on Twitter by @NYGDaily.

ODB, the star player who has become known for his one-handed catches, is reportedly set to appeal his 1-game suspension on Wednesday.

Beckham and Panthers cornerback Josh Norman were involved in several scuffles throughout the game including a potentially dangerous incident where Beckham delivered a diving helmet-to-helmet hit on Norman while blocking.

The Giants have reportedly claimed that Beckham was threatened and called homophobic slurs before the game which they lost to the Panthers 38-35.
