Vicious attack on man with sword, sticks
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A 26-year-old man is recovering from a vicious assault with sticks and a sword by a group of men in Richmond Hill, Queens.
The victim was threatened on Sunday morning with a gun by the group as he was on 123rd Street near 101st Avenue, according to police. The man tried to run away but tripped and fell.
Surveillance camera video shows the group of thugs surround and beat him repeatedly with two wooden sticks and a long sword.
The man was rushed to Jamaica Hospital with serious injuries. He needed stitches to his head, said police.
Cops are searching for the attackers. They are described as follows:
Individual # 1 - male Asian, dark complexion, approximately 18-24 years of age, approximately 6'1", black hair, facial hair and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and green sweatpants.
Individual # 2- male Asian, dark complexion, approximately 18-24 years of age, approximately 5'8", black hair pulled back into a ponytail, facial hair and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt, red shorts and black shoes.
Individual # 3- male Asian, dark complexion, approximately 18-24 years of age, approximately 5'6" to 5'8" and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, blue and white shorts and sandals.
Individual # 4- male Asian/Pacific Islander, dark complexion, approximately 18-24 years of age, approximately 5'6" to 5'8", black hair pulled into a bun and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, green shorts and black sandals.
