NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - Former television news anchor Dan Rather is back on the air -- this time in satellite radio. SiriusXM announced that the broadcasting legend will host his own show, called "Dan Rather's America," on Radio Andy channel 102.
The one-hour program will debut on Tuesday, September 27, at 10 a.m., the morning after the first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Rather is expected to comment on and analyze the debate.
Rather's weekly program will feature top newsmakers as well as calls from listeners.
Broadcasting from SiriusXM's headquarters in Rockefeller Center, "Dan Rather's America" will be available on SiriusXM On Demand, through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online. You must be a SiriusXM subscriber to listen.
