Uber driver stabbed in Manhattan
NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Police in New York are looking for a stabbing suspect after an Uber driver was stabbed in Midtown Manhattan. It happened after the two drivers sot into some sort of dispute.
It happened on East 50th St. between 6th and 7th Avenues just before 4 p.m. Police say the Uber diver was in a GMC Arcadia and got into some sort of incident with the driver of a grey Ford Winstar van.
The NYPD says the van driver got out and stabbed the Uber driver in the arm before juming back into the van and driving off.
The victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital and was expected to survive.
The suspect is described as black and between 30-35 years old. Police had no other information on the suspect available.
