Several people were hurt when an Uber SUV jumped the curb and crashed into a Manhattan storefront on Monday afternoon.

Police say it happened just after 2:30 p.m. at 17th St. and 6th Avenue in the Chelsea neighborhood. The driver of the Lincoln Navigator was apparently distracted and then cut off by another vehicle.

The SUV hit two pedestrians on the sidewalk before hitting a building that houses a T-Mobile store and a Korean barbecue restaurant. The two pedestrians, along with the Uber driver and a passenger, were taken to Bellevue Hospital.

Police do not believe any of the injuries were serious. They said the investigation was continuing.
