U.S. Army soldier surprises sister at Concord Honda after 9 months apart

A solider in the United States Army surprised his sister Friday morning while she was at work after spending nine months apart.

Gail Caudle tells FOX 46 Charlotte her son, Warren, has carried on a family tradition of serving in the U.S. Army. Warren's father retired from the Army in 2016 and his grandfather also served.

The solider surprised his sister while she was at work Friday at Honda of Concord after spending nine months away from family. Warren will be leaving after the Christmas holiday for three years in Germany, the family says.

Caudle said her son is a military dog handler whose job is to detect narcotics, explosives and patrol.
