Two teens charged with capital murder in fatal shooting of Spring teen

SPRING, Texas (FOX 26) - Two teens face capital murder charges in the deadly shooting of a Spring teen.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office was able to identify and find the two males who were captured on video leaving the scene of the fatal shooting.

Julian Velarde, 17, and Roderick Alexander, 17, have been charged with capital murder

The shooting happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 4400 block of Adonis near Naples Drive. According to the HCSO, three males were in a vehicle when a juvenile male was shot and the other two fled from the car on foot.

Pct. 4 deputy constables established a perimeter surrounding the crime scene as deputies searched for suspects.

Deputies say witnesses are cooperating with the ongoing investigation and no other charges have been filed at this time.
