Two injured after altercation in Lower Manhattan

Two people are injured after being slashed on their hands.

The Deputy Commissioner of Public Information reported that the incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening around Canal Street and Broadway in Lower Manhattan.

One of the victims refused medical attention while the other was taken to Bellevue Hospital where they remain in stable condition.

The incident reportedly began as an altercation between two people. Another person intervened, and got slashed, as well.

The suspect is still on the loose. He was described as a black male around 5’9 and was last seen wearing jeans and a black jacket.
