NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A tractor trailer disconnected from its cab and slammed into the entrance of a subway station in Manhattan on Monday.

The crash occurred at West 23rd St. and Sixth Ave. just before 9 a.m.

The impact ended with the trailer diagonal across multiple street lanes. One part of the trailer had gone up on the curb and into the subway entrance structure.

One stairwell to the southbound F/M platform was temporarily closed .

West 23rd St. between Seventh Ave. and Sixth Ave. were closed while the trailer was removed.

There were no reported injuries.
