Truck overturns near Newark airport

NEW JERSEY (FOX 5 NY) - An overturned truck was causing big delays in New Jersey during the morning rush hour.

It happened on the southbound side of routes 1 & 9 near Newark Liberty International Airport and Route 78.

The overturned tractor trailer was blocking the local lanes.  All traffic was being shifted into the express lanes.

Delays were building as the rush hour continued.  Delays started at Raymond Blvd.

It was unclear what caused the truck to overturn or if there were any injuries.
