Trooper struck by vehicle on New Jersey Turnpike

Westampton, N.J. (WTXF) - A New Jersey State Trooper was struck by a passing motorist while investigating an accident on the New Jersey Turnpike south of Interchange in Westampton, New Jersey. 

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday.

The trooper sustained non-life threatening injuries and has been released from the hospital. 

The investigation is ongoing.
