Three women stop possible drugged rape attempt
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (FOX 11) - This morning three women are being credited for stopping a possible sexual assault in Santa Monica.
The three were at the Fig Restaurant on Wilshire for happy hour on Thursday.
One of the women says she noticed a man at a nearby table, slipping something in to another woman's drink, when the woman went to the ladies room.
The women say they were able to warn the woman in the bathroom.
After the woman returned to her table, police showed up to take the man, 25-year-old Michael Hsu into custody. He's being held in lieu of one million dollar bail.
Since posting the story to Facebook, it has gone viral. It's been shared over a hundred thousand times.
