Tamar Braxton picks 9/11 to drop new album

Tamar Braxton, singer, host and reality TV star, wants fans to mark the next anniversary of the September 11 attacks with her.

Braxton is dropping her new album on that day.

"It's a very important day world wide. I felt like that's the day you can reflect on your loved ones and to help others. That’s why it’s called 'Calling All Lovers.'

The Maryland native who grew up singing with a "plethora of Braxtons" says the first single off the album focuses on romantic love.

"In 'I Don't Have You' I have nothing to hide about how I feel. Before I was married I kissed a lot of frogs and ogres. I talk about those experiences candidly," said Braxton.
