Another organ has been found at the water treatment plant in Detroit.

Police say an organ that appears to be a stomach has been recovered at the Great Lakes Water Authority's Water Resource Recovery Facility on West Jefferson.

Police were called to the southwest Detroit facility at 5:30 p.m. Thursday after the discovery was made.

It has been taken to the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office for testing.

In late December four kidneys and one deer heart were found in separate incidents at the plant. It still has not been determined if the kidneys are human.

Authorities there have said the discoveries have not affected the water treatment process.

The facility where the organs have been found is formerly known as the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and is located at 9300 W. Jefferson Ave.
