Steph Curry pens essay about Veteran's Day, racial inequality

Stephen Curry is opening up, in the form of an essay for The Players' Tribune.

In the article, released on Veteran's Day, the Warriors point guard shares his feelings about "what it means to have a platform."

Curry says he wants to use his status as an influential athlete to start conversations about how civilians can help veterans.

He writes, "Let's talk about how we can do better, to make their lives easier. Let's use our platforms, and take this day, to talk about how we can be louder than all of this silence- and quieter than all of this noise".

He also touches on racial inequality, the National Anthem Debate, and what it felt like to see the President had directed a tweet at him.
