Scaffold collapses in New Jersey

A scaffold collapsed at a building in New Jersey, seriously injuring several people Thursday, authorities said. The accident happened at 3:30 p.m. at 139 Tracy Place in Hackensack, where workers were installing a new roof.

Seven workers fell a few dozen feet. The AP reported that the men are being treated at Hackensack University Medical Center.

The Bergen County Sheriff's Office and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.
