LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 13) - Police surrounded a private school near Louisville, Kentucky after reports came in about shots being fired.
Police said after some investigation they believe shots were fired somewhere outside the school. The school was placed on lockdown and all people inside have been accounted for and are safe.
Police said in a briefing at 4:30 p.m. they found what they believe to be shell casings near, but not on school property.
The school was still being kept secure while police investigated.
Reports of shots fired began to come in around 3:15 p.m. Thursday at Evangel Christian School.
