NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A report of a man with a firearm prompted a rapid police response and the lockdown of the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan on Friday.
Police arrested a man just before 7 p.m. at a Barnes and Noble near Union Square. He had a pellet gun on him, the NYPD said.
FIT was on lockdown for about 30 minutes.
It is not clear with the man arrested is a student at the school.
