Police: Woman shoved through window after declining sex

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a man shoved a woman through a store window after she declined his offer to have sex with him.

Trenton police say Drayton Carter, of Willingboro, was charged with aggravated assault.

The 36-year-old woman was bleeding from her back when she flagged down officers to report the incident. She was treated at a hospital and was later released.

She told police she was standing on South Broad Street when the 49-year-old Carter allegedly approached her and asked her to have sex with him. When she declined, Carter allegedly became angry and shoved her through the window before fleeing the scene on foot.

Carter was arrested a short time later. A telephone number for him could not be located Sunday.
