Police search for missing Brooklyn senior
NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - The NYPD is seeking help in locating a Brooklyn woman who has now been missing for a week.
Mary Joyce-Bonsignore was last seen on Monday, July 17, 2017 at approximately 8:30 a.m. in front of her Bath Beach home. She has dementia and there are worries she went out and could not find her way back home.
Joyce-Bonsignore is 88 years-old, and approximately 5'8". She is approximately 140lbs with blue eyes and white hair.
She was last seen wearing a straw hat, blue pants, a red and white shirt, brown slippers, and a silver identification bracelet.
Parishioners from St. Finbar Catholic Church in Brooklyn, where Bonsignore is a parishioner, organized a large search party for the missing woman Saturday. Police and volunteer EMTs helped the group.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Police say that all calls are strictly confidential.
