Police: LI man posted child porn on Twitter

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - Police arrested a Long Island man for allegedly posting child pornography online, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Authorities charged Matthew Kerniss, 26, of Valley Stream, with seven counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance of a Child and four counts of Possessing a Sexual Performance of a Child, police said.

Police and FBI tracked down Kerniss after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported that a Twitter user was posting images of child porn.

Kerniss is set to be arraigned Friday.
