Pippa Middleton invokes 'no ring, no bring' wedding rule

Being a bride is stressful. You want to have the perfect day, and sometimes that means you have to have certain rules put in place. At least that is the case for bride-to-be Pippa Middleton.

Pippa's wedding is later this month. She is reportedly asking her guests two things. First, "no ring, no bring," which means no "plus one" if you're neither married nor engaged.

Wedding planner Andrea Freeman says the "no ring, no bring" policy is not unheard of, especially in this day and age when more couples are paying for the wedding themselves and need to rein in the guest list.

Duchess Kate's little sister also wants those attending her wedding to bring a second outfit for the evening reception. Andrea says that many couples have a wedding reception and then an after-party, so many guests and the bride and groom change outfits.

When Kate tied the knot with Prince William in April 2011, she changed into a second wedding gown for the evening celebrations. So Pippa may well be planning on a change of outfit herself.

Whether you think she is too demanding or not, she is the bride and what the bride wants, the bride gets.
