Palin cancels Trump apperance following husband's accident

Todd Palin, the husband of former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, is hospitalized following an accident involving a snow machine.

Details surrounding the accident have not been released.

In a statement issued Monday, the campaign for Donald Trump said that  Sarah Palin had canceled her appearance at a rally in support of Trump due to the accident.

"Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized. Governor Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump's thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time."

Palin was scheduled to campaign with Trump in The Villages, Fla. on Monday afternoon ahead of that state's Tuesday primary.
