‘One Direction' member Louis Tomlinson performs days after mother's death

During night one of the U.K’s ‘X-Factor’ finale, ‘One Direction’ member, Louis Tomlinson performed his first single, “Just Hold On,” which he collaborated with American electro-house musician, Steve Aoki.

The performance came just a few days after his mother, Johannah Deakin, had tragically passed away after her battle with leukemia.

After the performance, he was praised by the audience and ‘X-Factor’ judges, including Simon Cowell, who said, “I’ve known you now for 6 years. What you’ve just done. The bravery-Your mom was so proud of you, and she was so looking forward to tonight. She’s watching down on you tonight, and you’ve done her proud.”

Family and friends were in attendance to watch Tomlinson perform, including fellow One Direction band members were there to show support.

"Just Hold On" is Tomlinson's first single as a solo artist after One Direction's Hiatus announcement.
