NYPD searching for suspect in attempted abduction of 6 year-old

New surveillance video has been released by the NYPD in the attempted abduction of a 6 year-old boy in the Bronx.

Police say the man shown in the video grabbed the boy and attempted to put him into a black vehicle.

He was stopped by a member of the boy's family.

It happened a month ago near West 162nd Street and Jerome Avenue in the Concourse section of the Bronx.

Police also released a sketch and have asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-Tips.
