NYPD: 2 killed in separate shootings in Queens, Brooklyn
NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Police Department is investigating the deaths of two men in separate shooting incidents in Queens and Brooklyn.
Authorities responded to a call of shots fired in the Rosedale section of Queens shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday. They found two men with gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital, where a 19-year-old man was pronounced dead. An 18-year-old man was in critical condition. The man who died was identified as Peyton Manwaring.
Police said another man was shot in Brooklyn around 5:20 a.m. Sunday. Officers responding to a call of shots fired found 46-year-old Fitzgerald McBride in his car, with wounds to his arm and torso. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
No arrests have been made in either shooting.
