Man stabbed on M train near Rockefeller Center
NEW YORK CITY - A man was stabbed repeatedly on an M subway train near Rockefeller Center on Tuesday, and a person of interest is now in custody, police said.
What we know:
Police said the attack happened at approximately 2:07 p.m. at the Rockefeller Center Train station on the southbound M train. The stabbing stemmed from a verbal dispute, police said.

Police said that the man, approximately in his 20s, had stab wounds to the right side of his body.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is in stable condition, police said.
What we don't know:
The names of the victim and the suspect have not been released at this time. The cause of the altercation is unknown.
