NFL player's cousin among San Bernardino victims
NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A New York Giants player from Southern California says a cousin was among the 14 people killed in the San Bernardino massacre. Nat Berhe tweeted the information on Thursday afternoon, saying: "I'm so sick right now."
Wednesday, before he was aware of his cousin's death, he tweeted, "Send a prayer up for my hometown" and "Hurts my heart."
Berhe played for San Diego State before being drafted by the Giants in 2014. He is on injured reserve this season due to a calf injury. He has another cousin that plays in the NFL; Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith
