New York is a 'City of Dogs'
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Ken Foster has met thousands of dogs who live in New York City. And has learned that every one of our canine companions is unique.
He shares stories about them in the book City of Dogs: New York Dogs, Their Neighborhoods, and the People Who Love Them, featuring photos by Traer Scott.
The book showcases a thousand dogs in neighborhoods in all five boroughs of the city.
The imprint Avery describes the book this way: "From the Bronx to Brooklyn and along the streets of Harlem and Manhattan, Ken Foster and Traer Scott explore the unique relationships between dogs and their human counterparts."
Foster is also the author of the memoirs The Dogs Who Found Me and Dogs I Have Met.
Scott specializes in animal photography and has also written 10 books, including Shelter Dogs.
