New traffic pattern on Route 495

NEW JERSEY (FOX 5 NY) - The traffic pattern on eastbound Route 495 outside the Lincoln Tunnel was shifted over the weekend.

The change was part of the rehabilitation project to replace the bridge deck that takes 495 over Tonnelle Ave. and Routes 1 & 9.

The new traffic pattern will impact traffic coming off route 3 and the traffic coming off the NJ Turnpike.
