Naked man attacks passengers on train in DC
WASHINGTON - Police say a man who was naked when he assaulted two passengers while on board a D.C. Metro train has been taken into custody. The incident allegedly occurred Thursday morning on a railcar that left the Gallery Place Metro station.
A witness who shot video of the incident told FOX 5 DC that he first spotted the naked man inside of the Gallery Place Metro station. He told us that he and the naked man boarded the same train and at the train’s first stop, the naked man exited the railcar. The witness told us that the man entered a second train and that he captured video of him striking a passenger.
Metro Transit Police tell FOX 5 that the man was naked inside of the Dupont Circle Metro station when they took him into custody. Video shows the man being taken out of the station on a stretcher. It is not clear if he has been or will face charges.
