Multiple Long Island churches damaged with satanic graffiti

NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Police on Long Island are investigating multiple churches being vandalized with Satanic graffiti as a hate crime.

Police said the latest incident targeted Prayer Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Amityville.  They believe it was spray painted some time on Saturday.

That was the fourth church that was vandalized over the past several days.

Shaw Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, Zion Gospel Church, and Amityville Full Gospel Tabernacle were among the other three churches vandalized some time between Friday night and Saturday morning.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call Hate Crimes Section at 631-852-6323 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
