Movie theater evacuated during 'Star Wars' showing
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - The AMC Theater at the Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold, New Jersey was evacuated Friday afternoon after a bomb threat was reportedly made against the theater.
SkyFoxHD was over the scene where a large crowd appeared to be waiting outside.
A movie goer told New Jersey 101.5 that he was watching “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” with his daughter when the screen went dark. A woman came in and told everyone to leave.
Various reports from the scene indicated the theater was also evacuated earlier this week following a written threat found by an employee.
The theater was reopened shortly after 1 p.m.
