Mom assaulted on subway after son asked question
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - A mother was assaulted by two other women inside a subway car after the victim's son asked one of the women why her son was wearing a costume, said police.
The 50-year-old woman was placed in a choke hold while the other assailant punched her in the face and hit her on the head with a cell phone, added police.
The assailants ran off the E train at the 71st Street-Continental Ave. station in Queens.
The first woman is described by police as black, 25 - 30 years old, with eye glasses. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt, dark colored pants with a black jacket tied around her waist. She also had a black purse over her shoulder.
The second individual is black, 25 to 30 years old. She was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, a blue jacket and gray sweatpants.
