Mobile gaming industry expected to hit $100B in 2020

A new study predicts that spending on mobile games will exceed $100B this year.

According to mobile data and analytics researcher App Annie, global spending on mobile games reached 56 percent of all game software in 2019. Titles like “Mario Kart tour” and “Call of Duty Mobile” recieved over 100M downloads.

Arcade and puzzle games accounted for 68 percent of game downloads.
