Missing Columbia University student found safe

A Columbia University student who went missing on May 5 has been found safe, authorities said.

Neither police nor university officials provided any details about what had happened to Nayla Kidd, 19, an engineering undergrad, or where she was found.

Last week, the Columbia University Public Safety Department said that her friends and family hadn't heard from her in days.
