Missing 12-year-old Marietta boy found safe

MARIETTA, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Marietta police said they have located a 12-year-old boy believed to have gone missing over the weekend. Police said he is in good condition.

Investigators said Elijah Jones was last seen Sunday in the area of Allgood Road and Morning Side Road.

Police said residents had seen Jones and saw news reports about his being missing. They called authorities immediately to tell them his location. He was safely reunited with his family.
