Manhattan toddler found safe
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - The NYPD says a toddler who went missing Tuesday morning with her nanny has been found safe. Police were concerned that Gabriella Russo, 3, might be in danger. Her nanny, Fatima Alexander, has been arrested.
Authorities said that Gabriella was last seen leaving her home in Battery Park City with Alexander, 55, at about 9:15 a.m. Alexander was supposed to take Gabriel to school, but she never showed up.
Police described Gabriella as 3 feet tall, 44 pounds, and with brown eyes and black hair.
Police described Alexander as being 5 feet 4 inches tall and approximately 120 pounds.
She is charged with kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful imprisonment.
