Man viciously beaten outside Brooklyn bar

NEW YORK (AP) — A 26-year-old man viciously kicked and beaten by a group of men outside a Brooklyn bar is hospitalized in critical condition.

The NYPD released a surveillance video of the assault and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

It shows about eight men punching, kicking and striking the victim with belt buckles, bar stools and a sharp object at around midnight on Saturday.

Police say the assault occurred after a dispute between the group and the victim inside the Vaqueros restaurant in Bushwick spilled out into the street.

The victim suffered cuts to his torso, shoulder and left arm. He was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition.
