Man shot at mall in New Jersey during Black Friday shopping rush

ELIZABETH, N.J. (FOX5NY.COM) - Gunfire erupted at a shopping mall in New Jersey on Black Friday.

A man was shot in the wrist at The Mills at Jersey Gardens Friday evening, according to the office of the mayor of Elizabeth.

Authorities cleared the mall while police responded to the shooting, which happened in between Tommy Hilfiger and Marshalls.

The "victim is not cooperating on identifying the suspect," the mayor's office said.

Police have not made any arrests and are reviewing security camera video.

A video taken from inside one of the stores and shared on the Citizen app shows shoppers hurriedly leaving the mall. The man recording the video can be heard saying he doesn't want to leave the store and risk getting shot.
