Man killed, another injured in Long Island shooting

NORTH AMITYVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — Police on Long Island say a man has been killed and another has been injured after a shooting outside of a home in North Amityville.

It happened around 3:20 a.m. Monday.

Suffolk County police say 38-year-old Jason White, of West Babylon, was fatally shot outside of a home on Emerald Lane North.

They say a 28-year-old man was also shot.

The man, whose name wasn't immediately released, was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the incident. No arrests had been made by Monday afternoon.
